• Transmission of thoughts from one mind
  to another
• An essential function of civilization
• Process of mutual interaction of people
  through sensory stimuli – anything that
  brings about a response in the nervous
  system, the sensory system or the
  feelings of a person
ORAL COMMUNICATION

• Sound representation of a
  language
• Consists of the speaking and
  listening processes
LANGUAGE
• Man’s most effective medium of
  communication
• Allows people to communicate
  their ideas

  Clarity makes comprehension easier.
3. Conciseness
saves time of both the sender and the
 receiver
can be achieved by avoiding wordy
 expressions and repetition
