1. Report on Superannuation ceremony of Shri Narayan Kapoor

On the afternoon of August 31, 2017, Shr Narayan Kapoor superannuated as Pharmacist and store
keeperfrom the Department of AYUSH , Homeopathy wing. The contributory retirement function was
held at conference hall at Guru Gobind Singh Hospital. The distinguished seniors present were Dr.
Mridula Pandey, Deputy Director (H), Dr Bijender Singh and Dr. Sudha Bala CDMO(north and north
west).The ceremonywasanchoredbyDr. Amrit Kalsi, CMO (NFSG), Link Officer West. At the beginning
of the program, a warm welcome was given to all for having come despite heavy rains that day and
bouquetswere presentedtothe seniorsand Shri NarayanKapoor andhis wife.Onthisoccasion his two
daughtersandson-in- lawswere alsopresent.Shri NarayanKapoorwashonored with garlands by other
people from the department and his journey into the medical field was charted.
He joinedthe departmentinthe year1978 as PSKat Lawrence road dispensary.He renderedhisservices
at Jahangirpuri,Shakurpur,Keshavpuram,Seelamputi, Krishna nagar and Inderlok dispensaries. A brief
send off speech was given by Dr. Mridula Pandey ,DD(H) and Dr. Paramjeet. Dinesh also shared his
experiences as a colleague .Dr Bharati, SMO, musically conveyed the bond between a pharmacist and
the doctor. Thereafter Shri Narayan Kapoor was called upon the stage. He profusely expressed his
gratitude to one and all. This was followed by a presentation of memento by Dr. Mridula Pandey. Dr
AmritKalsi presentedashawl tohis wife,Mrs.Chander Kapoor. A wrist watch was presented on behalf
of departmentbyMahesh.DrMridula Pandeydisbursedthe postretirementcheque. It happened to be
hisbirthdayonthe dayof his retirement. Birthday celebrations happened by cake cutting. All the staff
presentthere gave himawarm send off and everyone wished him good luck, longevity and days filled
with happiness, health and contentment. After this the guests and the homeopathic fraternity
proceeded for a tea and snacks.
