1. REPORT ON ZONAL MEET

MEET WAS CONDUCTED ON 28/08/2017 AT HEDGEWAR CONFRENCE HALL FROM 2 PM TO
4 PM UNDER THE GUIDENCE OF DR ASHOK SHARMA ,CDMO E/NE/SH.
CME wagon wheel: New treatments/diagnostic strategies/expand knowledge/practice behavior/patient
care/clinical management.
Doctors from from all east, north east and Shahdra zones participated. Dr. Ashok Sharma CDMO began
the meeting focusing on the purpose of CME.
The highlights of talk were
1- To Improve functioning at the dispensary level.
2- The chart depicting the areas we need to focus and improve.
3- To reduce the choice reaction time of disease and remedy diagnosis.
4- To make our practice more result oriented and evidence based.
5- To make homoeopathy the first line of treatment.
Platform for interaction and time was provided to each GDMO, to share the method of prescription and
method of management of the cases at their respective dispensaries.
During the course of the meeting all the GDMOs shared their experiences and ways of practice adopted
in their respective dispensaries.

2. The points expressed by the various doctors were:
1-To allow the patient to express or vent out his feelings or suppressed emotions.
2- To be strict with patients as and when required.
3- To develop rapport with patient or develop the feeling of being available for him.
4- Role of auxiliary management, diet and regimen.
5- The need to provide and improve diagnostic aids.
6- To improve diagnostic and therapeutic knowledge.
7- Experiences about new ventures like cancer institute and infertility clinic. 8- To make certain
planning to reduce waste of time.
9- Many GDMO’s want to work on Special clinics at the OPD level.
10- Demand of exposure to special clinic’s at IBHAS and other special clinics by most of the GDMO’s.
Over all it was a very good experience for everyone. It helped to develop an insight and got guidelines
for good Homeopathic practice. Everyone suggested such meeting should be scheduled time to time.⁠⁠⁠⁠
All the GDMOs were motivated to submit at least one case every month to the department. It would
increase the matter for the departmental E-news letter.
At the close of the meet , the topic for discussion was given to all “CAN PSYCHOLOGICAL
EVALUATION OF A PERSON OR PATIENT BE HELPFUL IN TREATING HIS SOMATIC
COMPLAINTS”
Feedback Proforma was also provided, as this would be helpful in deciding the topics for the next meet.
