Elizabeth Drescher, PhD earned a B.A. in Writing and Psychology at the University of Pittburgh, where she continued onto graduate work in Pitt's highly regard M.F.A. writing program. After her first round of graduate school, Dr. Drescher worked as an organizational and management development consulant with companies in the US, Canada, and the UK such as AT&T, British Aerospace, Sysco Food Services, Thorn EMI, Unocal, Texico, Lloyd's Bank, Westinghouse, and Westin Hotels. In the final phase of her corporate career, Dr. Drescher worked in the managed care industry while also completing graduate studies in Carnegie Mellon's Heinz School of Public Policy & Management.
