3. Why Manicure and Pedicure?
A manicure is a cosmetic beauty treatment
for the fingernails and hands, performed at
home or in a nail salon. ... When applied to
the toenails and feet, this treatment is
referred to as a pedicure. Some manicures
can include the painting of pictures or
designs on the nails, or applying small
decals or imitation jewels.

Pedicures
There are many types of manicures and
pedicures, but today we will discussed

5. Regular Mani And Pedi
A regular manicures basically includes the
soaking your hands in warm soapy water to
soothe and soften dead skin cells. The nail
technician moisturizes your hands and
polishes your nails with a base coat and top
coat. During a regular pedicure, you soak
your feet in a warm tub of water.
6. French Manicure/Pedicure
It is chic and classic. In this your hands and
feets are treated in the same way as a
regular manicure and pedicure. The
technician applies a polish in a neutral
translucent color such as a clear white or
pale pink over the entire nail, followed by
white polish on the tips of the nails.
7. Nail Spa
In this special treatments, your fingers and
toenails will undergo. This takes more time
and cost. Salons come up with numerous
variations of this procedure, often made
"unique" by one special extra ingredient.
Wraps and masks are usually involved. It's
basically like a regular mani and pedi plus
the add-ons (say, reflexology massage with
a hydrating treatment).
8. Paraffin
Paraffin that is used for salon treatments is
actually an alkaline (opposite of acidic)
substance that contains hydrating factors
for the skin. It comes in a very viscous and
waxy form which is applied all over the skin
on the feet and the hands (palm and back
of hands). One's hands and feet are then
wrapped with for the moisture to seep
through the skin.
9. Stone Manicure and Pedicure
A hot stone manicure and pedicure
involves all the treatment of a regular
manicure and pedicure but with the addition
of heated stones the technician places on
your hands and feet. The hot stones
provide relief for overworked hands and
