I am using my formal training in user-centred design and the 20 years of work experience I have consulting to business to help support, mentor and coach within the startup ecosystem in Nova Scotia. I stay current by reading as much as I can about business, entrepreneurship, technology and the Startup movement. In addition to my formal academic training, I have taken it upon myself to learn basic web development languages and tools like: HTML & CSS (including Bootstrap), JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5 Canvas, Chrome Developer Tools, Git, Jade, Sass, AngularJS, Ionic, Xcode, Swift, NodeJS, PostgreSQL to name a few.
