24. Information for Incoming Erasmus students

1. ERASMUS students, attend courses or carry out a project in our School. The
courses of the School are taught in Greek.
2. English bibliography under the supervision of the responsible Professor but
practicals of the chosen courses are compulsory and consequently students are
following them in English
3. The course of “River and Lake Water Quality” is taught in English
(http://www.bio.auth.gr/en/content/river-and-lake-water-quality).
4. At the end of the semester, foreign students are examined in English.
5. To carry out a project on a specific subject, he/she has to come in contact with
the faculty of the School (http://www.bio.auth.gr/en/panel-prosopiko-
tmimatos-en), preferably before his/her arrival in Greece. The work load of the
project, that is the number of credits, are calculated according to the ECTS rules.
6. Calendar: In the autumn semester, teaching starts the first week of October,
whereas practicals start the 2nd week. In spring semester teaching starts the 1st
week of February, whereas practicals the 3d week.
