2. Scenario: I am an Instructional Designer with Educational Technology. My job is to develop and present training to employees via the company Intranet. My manager explains there is a recurring problem within the company than many entry level employees do not adequately complete their research projects because they do not understand how to use an internet search engine.

3. Goal of Tutorial: The learner will demonstrate knowledge of how to conduct an internet search beginning with opening a browser, following the steps and ending with an internet web page of how to write a business email.

5. Locate and type web site in address bar

6. Identify and type in search box

7. Navigate and search link results

9. Step 1: Double-click the icon to open a browser window (such as Internet Explorer, the big blue E, most common or another browser)

10. Step 2: Type in the address bar http://www.google.com/ for the internet search and press enter.

11. Step 3: Type in the search box “How to write a business e-mail” Press Enter again

12. Step 4: Click on the link How to Write Business Email

13. Step 5: You should see the results of your search.
