What we aim to do
The EV TESOL certificate course has been designed to empower our trainees and build confidence in
delivering fun, creative and interesting lessons in an EFL classroom. We aim to develop traineesʼ
understanding of teaching and learning in this field and to maximize the teaching and learning experience.
The course aspires to create teachers who can guide, assist and facilitate learning rather than ʻlectureʼ
learners and act as the ʻknowerʼ of the lesson. Our TEFL/TESOL course is hands-on, innovative, creative
and learner-centered allowing trainees to add their own ideas, opinions and teaching beliefs.
Who is the course suitable for?
Our EV TESOL certificate course is designed for students at CEFR B2 / C1 level and those with little or no
experience of teaching, so trainees need not worry. We ask that all our candidates have a very good
command of English. This is to ensure participants can cope with the demands and challenges the course
entails. This course caters for people from a wide variety of backgrounds and is ideal for those who would
like a career change, those who wish to develop as a teacher and progress in this field or simply for those
who would like to travel and gain new experiences. Anyone can become an EFL teacher.
