2. 2
At the temple dedication, Solomon knelt to pray
and prayed a long prayer.
3. 3
1 Kings 8:54 And it was so, that
when Solomon had made an
end of praying all this prayer
and supplication unto the
LORD, he arose from before
the altar of the LORD, from
kneeling on his knees with his
hands spread up to Heaven.
55 And he stood, and blessed
all the congregation of Israel
with a loud voice, saying,
4. 4
56 Blessed be the LORD, that hath given rest unto
His people Israel, according to all that He
promised: there hath not failed One Word of all His
Good Promise, which He promised by the hand of
Moses his servant.
They served a benevolent Lord.
We serve the same Lord God.
There will not fail one Word
of His Promises unto us.
5. 5
57 The LORD our God be with us, as He was with
our fathers: let Him not leave us, nor forsake us:
That was Solomon’s blessing upon Israel.
It is God’s Promise unto us.
6. 6
Hebrews 13 5 Let your conversation (way of life)
be without covetousness (greed; love of money);
and be content with such things as ye have: for He
hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper,
and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
“He hath said” The LORD hath said.
7. 7
Russia attacking
the Ukraine When the Palestinians
are causing war in Israel.
When our southern
border is being
overrun by illegals.
With all this chaos in
the world, aren’t you
thankful that God said:
8. 8
“I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”
Because we know that our Lord is with us,
We can boldly say,
“The Lord is my helper, and I will not
fear what man shall do unto me.”
9. 9
We can be content in the life God gives us.
Live life His Way.
People make changes because they are not
content, and then remain dissatisfied.
All they need to do is draw near unto God,
loving Him with all their heart and mind.
They will be content.
10. 10
58 That He may incline our hearts unto Him, to
walk in all His Ways, and to keep His Command-
ments, and His Statutes, and His Judgments, which
He commanded our fathers.
Because we know that God is with us
All the time in every place:
Our heart should always be inclined toward God.
That means we will walk in His Ways,
Keep His Commandments,
Keep His Statutes, and His Judgments.
11. 11
59 And let these my words, wherewith I have made
supplication before the LORD, be nigh unto the
LORD our God day and night, that He maintain the
cause of His servant, and the cause of His people
Israel at all times, as the matter shall require:
When we live only for the Lord,
He will maintain our cause,
Whatever we need.
12. 12
60 That all the people of the earth may know that
the LORD is God, and that there is none else.
When people can see that God is with us,
They will know
That the LORD is God and that
there is no other.
13. 13
61 Let your heart therefore be perfect (complete)
with the LORD our God, to walk in His Statutes,
and to keep His Commandments, as at this day.
Fully make up your mind to live God’s Way.
Do everything His Way, all the time,
in every place.
14. 14
62 And the king, and all Israel with him, offered
sacrifice before the LORD. 63 And Solomon offered
a sacrifice of peace offerings, which he offered
unto the LORD, two and twenty thousand oxen,
and an hundred and twenty thousand sheep. So the
king and all the children of Israel dedicated the
house of the LORD.
15. 15
64 The same day did the king hallow (set aside as
holy) the middle of the court that was before the
house of the LORD: for there he offered burnt
offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the
peace offerings: because the brazen altar that was
before the LORD was too little to receive the burnt
offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the
peace offerings.
16. 16
65 And at that time Solomon held a feast, and all
Israel with him, a great congregation, from the
entering in of Hamath unto the river of Egypt,
before the LORD our God, seven days and seven
days, even fourteen days. 66 On the eighth day he
sent the people away: and they blessed the king,
and went unto their tents joyful and glad of heart
for all the goodness that the LORD had done for
David His servant, and for Israel His people.
Celebration!
17. 17
Every time God’s people come
together it should be in celebration
of the Goodness of God,
And of His Son, Jesus Christ.
Worship is not a
solemn occasion.
18. 18
Psalm 66 1 Make a joyful
noise unto God, all ye
lands: 2 Sing forth the
honor of His Name: make
HIS praise glorious.
19. 19
Psalm 33 1 Rejoice in the
LORD, O ye righteous: for
praise is comely (beautiful) for
the upright. 2 Praise the LORD
with harp: sing unto Him with
the psaltery and an instrument
of ten strings. 3 Sing unto Him
a new song; play skilfully with
a loud noise. 4 For the Word of
the LORD is right; and all His
Works are done in Truth.
