persuaded") which supplies the core-meaning of faith
("divine persuasion").

FAITH = DIVINE PERSUASION
TRUSTDIVINE
7. What is this Divine
TRUST?
Hebrews 11:1,2
1-2 The fundamental fact of existence is that
this trust in God, this faith, is the firm
foundation under everything that makes life
worth living. It’s our handle on what we
can’t see. The act of faith is what
distinguished our ancestors, set them above
the crowd.
8. Hebrews 11:1
11 Now faith is confidence in what we hope
for and assurance about what we do not see.
What is this Divine
TRUST?
9. 1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so
great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every
weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and
let us run with endurance the race that is set before
us,2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of
our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him
endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat
down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Hebrew 12:1,2
10. Hebrew 4:14-16
14 Inasmuch then as we have a great High Priest Who has [already]
ascended and passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us
hold fast our confession [of faith in Him].
15 For we do not have a High Priest Who is unable to understand and
sympathize and have a shared feeling with our weaknesses and
infirmities and liability to the assaults of temptation, but One Who has
been tempted in every respect as we are, yet without sinning.
16 Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the
throne of grace (the throne of God’s unmerited favor to us sinners), that
we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good
time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just
when we need it].
12. 2 Peter 1:5-7
5 For this very reason, adding your diligence [to the divine
promises], employ every effort in exercising your faith to develop
virtue (excellence, resolution, Christian energy), and in
[exercising] virtue [develop] knowledge (intelligence),
6 And in [exercising] knowledge [develop] self-control, and in
[exercising] self-control [develop] steadfastness (patience,
endurance), and in [exercising] steadfastness [develop] godliness
(piety),
7 And in [exercising] godliness [develop] brotherly affection, and
in [exercising] brotherly affection [develop] Christian love.

17. How can we be
faithful?
Romans 10:17
17 So faith comes by hearing [what is told], and
what is heard comes by the preaching [of the
message that came from the lips] of Christ (the
Messiah Himself).
18. How can we be
faithful?
2 For indeed we have had good news
preached to us, just as they also; but the
word they heard did not profit them,
because it was not united/mix by faith in
those who heard.

faithful?
6 And without faith it is impossible to please God,
because anyone who comes to him must believe
that he exists and that he rewards those who
earnestly seek him.

God desires to be like the dragon fruit….Hard outside but when cut open, the fruit springs out gently, naturally and beautifully. Ready for people to enjoy it. And this fruit is the fruit from the holy spirit which is….
Faith Produces Faithfulness.
Faith is the root of faithfulness.
Many may think we are faithful but our foundation must be based on the root word faith. SO WHAT IS FAITH?
My squash experience where I was persuaded that I could win, and the result…. Human persuasion that have many flaws and no guarantees.
Faith is Trusting/ Persuaded that God has the best for us - present and future.

Jesus being our author and finisher of our faith. We look to Jesus for what we dream for or envision for and not how the world looks at vision.
For instance, I have faith in gravity. I believe that, wherever I am in the world, if I drop something it will fall. I do not and cannot have absolute knowledge of this, for I cannot be everywhere at once at all times dropping things and proving my hypothesis. And perhaps - just perhaps - there are certain and extremely rare conditions on earth where I could drop something and it wouldn't fall, where gravity wouldn't apply - I don't know. But even so, the only reasonable and intelligent thing to assume, based on my own experiences and on what others have told me, is that gravity always applies. So I have faith in gravity.
Gravity is like Jesus, I am the ball, When I fly up in the air, I will fall into the arms of Christ each time. I must have divine persuasion in knowing that Christ died on the cross, He knows me by name, He knows my future and my past and He desires me to reach the potential He created me to be.
During World War II, a military governor met with General George Patton in Sicily. When he praised Patton highly for his courage and bravery, the general replied, "Sir, I am not a brave man. . .
John Hopkins University doctor says, "We do not know why it is that worriers die sooner than the non-worriers, but that is a fact." But I, who am simple of mind, think I know; We are inwardly constructed in nerve and tissue, brain cell and soul, for faith and not for fear. God made us that way. To live by worry is to live against reality. The truth is, I am an utter craven coward. I have never been within the sound of gunshot or in sight of battle in my whole life that I wasn't so scared that I had sweat in the palms of my hands." Years later, when Patton's autobiography was published, it contained this significant statement by the general: "I learned very early in my life never to take counsel of my fears."
Many don’t experience this profit because many did it on their own.
We stop serving because we have to study or because of family issues, etc
When you stop because of your studies, you stop trusting God and begin to trust in yourself thus when you get good results, honestly deep in you, you think that it was your your hard work that paid off. But people who study and serve God in faith that God will still reward them, when they pass or get good results they can testify of their faith because they went though it in faith.
