Kelly Osbourne has been slammed by fans who are calling her rude and hypocritical for posting a
selfie imitating former NAACP leader Rachel Dolezal.
The 30-year-old former Fashion Police star posted a selfie on her Instagram account wearing a curly-
haired brunette wig with the hash-tags #CallMeRachel and #MyCasualLook.

Many have speculated it was in response to the recent drama surrounding Rachel, which involved
her own parents ousting her out for pretending to be black.

While Kelly may have thought her selfie was a amusing, some of her unimpressed fans clearly
disagreed.
One user posted "#deleted #hypocrite #notcool #youlostafan... #disappointed", and another wrote,
"the same chick that was offended about the Zendaya thing is poking fun at this?".
The "Zendaya thing" refers to E! News host Guiliana Rancic's ignorant remarks about actress
Zendaya Coleman's dreadlocks at this year's Oscars, which included suggesting Zendaya "smells like
patchouli oil... or weed".

2. Osbourne was so outraged by Rancic's comments that after threatening to do so, she quit Fashion
Police.

It's no surprise Osbourne has lost fans over her decision to post a selfie which mocks such a
sensitive issue surrounding race, just months after she quit her job because she does "not condone
racism".
Unfazed by the criticism she has since added more fuel to the fire by posting another selfie wearing
a similar wig and collaging it next to a photo of her father, Ozzy Osbourne. The caption reads
"#TBT".

The response to her selfies have not been entirely negative, with one user positing on the most
recent one, "She's wearing the same type of wig that a Caucasian woman wore when she spent her
career IMPERSONATING an African American woman! No the same situation as with Zendaya and
Rancic. Duh!"

3. Other users have come to Kelly's defence by advising people to "lighten up" as it's "just a joke".
