Eliud Ondara was born in Kenyenya District (now Kenyenya Sub - County), Kisii County on 21st November 1974. He underwent his early education in the tea plantations in Koruma Primary School between 1980 and 1988. He went through his secondary education at Masaba High School and Igorera Secondary School between 1989 and 1993. He joined Kenyatta University to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, Literature and English in 1995 completing in 2000 with a BA Hons (Sociology and Literature). He is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration at the University of Nairobi’s Department of Political Science with research interests in gender dimensions in development.
