• Moodle MOOC is aimed at 3 different
kinds of users – wishing to
– Learn how to design and develop an online
course
– Get familiar with possibilities of Moodle/ get
experience in attending a MOOC
– Share experiences in using Moodle in their
teaching
• Networking of participants - bonus

distinguished participant
• Participants could share badges via Open Badges
• Formal validation was limited

• 256 successful participants (about 22%)
• 590 badges
• Participants typically earned more than
one badge – 2,3 on average
Participants’ satisfaction
Plans for the future
• Deliver Moodle MOOC for 2 groups in the
e-Schools project
– EU structural project aimed at development of
digital maturity of 150 (10%) schools in Croatia,
2015-2018
• MOOC as one of the preferable modes of
teacher training for development of digital
competences
