New Learning Spaces to Support
the EU 2020 Learning Intensive Society
List of stakeholders included those who
play a role in:
 studying, using the space, often over an extended day;
 academic leadership (this may be discipline specific or related to generic space);
 teaching, or some form of guided learning, in the space;
 managing the fabric of the buildings;
 managing the IT and electrical infrastructure;
 learning support including audio visual support;
 timetabling the space;
 providing learning resources;
 providing technical support in the space;
 providing other forms of student support in or related to the space;
 cleaning, setup and maintenance of the space;
 security of the space;
 health and safety in the space;
 financing the project and recurrent costs;
 supporting the project as an external specialist;
 events and conferences;
 student and academic services events (such as career fairs)
