FEC International has developed an innovative RFID tyre management system called e-Tyre Manager to address various issues with tire maintenance. The system uses RFID tags on each tire to automatically record tire pressure and tread depth readings taken with wireless probes. This tire data is stored and synchronized to a central database for easy monitoring of fleet tire information over time. Implementation of e-Tyre Manager improves driver safety by ensuring proper tire inflation and condition. It also increases operational efficiency by reducing tire inspection time and improves fuel efficiency through increased tire lifespan.
