13. How to use SlideShare
1. Enter the webpage http://www.slideshare.net/.
2. Then, you click in the link “upload” and in the option “bulk upload”.
3. After that, click in “browse and select files”, and choose the document you
want to upload.
4. When you already chose the document you want to upload, you click in the
option “publish”.
5. A yellow square after uploading the document and in there you click the
option “here”.
6. Then, you need to wait until your presentation appears in the window at which
“here” took you, and click in the image of it.
7. After you click it, it would become bigger, and it will appear an embed code
which you will copy.
8. When you copy it, you open your blog and click the option “new post”.
9. In there, you will add a title and paste the embed code.
10.You click in the option “save” and then you click in the option “publish post”.
11.Once it is published, you click at the option “view blog” and your presentation
will be there.

1. Creating a poll
Step 1. To create your first poll, click on the Create Poll button.
If you are signed in, you can find the Create Poll button from your My Polls page.
If you have not signed in, you can find the Create Poll button on the Poll
Everywhere homepage.
18. Step 3. Select the type of poll. Poll Everywhere offers several different poll types
including multiple choice, open-ended response, and clickable image polls.
Example, in open-ended polls, select how you would like your audience’s
responses to be visualized.

2. Accepting responses
Unlocking your poll
o When you create a poll, it unlocks automatically so you are ready to receive
responses.
o If your poll is locked, you can easily unlock it. Just go to your My Polls page,
select the poll you want to unlock, and click the Unlock button at the top of the
window.
20. Activating your poll
If you would like the audience to be able to respond on your PollEv.com
presenter page (i.e. PollEv.com/your-username), or to respond via text
message or Twitter, you will need to activate the poll.
This publishes the poll on your PollEv.com presenter page.
To activate your poll from the My Polls page, click on the Activate icon, located
to the right of the poll.
21. Ending your poll
To stop accepting responses, click the Lock icon to the right of the poll.
If you lock a poll while it is still activated, participants can see the poll on your
PollEv.com presenter page, but are unable to respond.
To remove the poll from your PollEv.com presenter page, simply click the
Activate icon once more to deactivate.

The Classroom Response System is designed to promote interactivity and
participation in a lecture or conference setting.
The hardware which are needed are:
Receiver – USB-based (it looks like a thumb drive)
Response Cards – this will be used by the students to key in the response

24. Creating a TurningPoint Presentation
1. Open Powerpoint from the within TurningPoint
Open TurningPoint 5 and click the PowerPoint Polling option in the
main portion of the screen.
This will open a new PowerPoint
Presentation.
25. 2. Create a TurningPoint Polling Slide
Under the TurningPoint tab, click on the New dropdown menu and select
one of the polling options listed.
Throughout this documentation the multiple choice polling option will be used.

Insert a question for the slide by clicking in the box that says Enter Question
Text.
Click outside the box to store the question.
Insert responses choices by clicking in the box that says Enter Answer Text.
Hit the “enter” key after typing a response to insert additional response
choices.

From the blue Slide Preferences toolbar assign a “correct” value to the
correct
response choice using the drop down menu.
This will change all other response choices to “incorrect”.
