Dr. Elsayed Mohamed Elazazi, earned his Ph.D. in Plant Eco-Phsiology and Conservation in Gene Bank from the Faculty of Environmental Agricultural Sciences, Suez Canal University, Egypt. He worked as assistant researcher and executive manager at the Egyptian Deserts Gene Bank, The Desert Research Center, Egypt from 2003 until 2012. Then joined the Genetic Resources Department, in 2012. He started a survey of Qatar wild flora, that supports the conservation of genetic resources.
