The MAX8819 is a complete power management IC that integrates a Li-ion battery charger, smart power selector circuitry, and four DC-DC regulators. It provides a highly integrated and efficient solution for powering handheld devices. The smart power selector allows devices to operate using only external power when the battery is low or absent. The IC also includes a battery charger, three step-down voltage regulators, and one step-up converter. It offers thermal and short-circuit protection for safe and reliable operation.
