1. Lipoproteins have a protein component which is hydrophilic. The protein component plays an integral part in interaction of lipoproteins with cellular receptors along with the activation and inhibition of enzymes involved in lipoprotein metabolism.
2. Phosphoglyceride is a polar content. It helps in solubilization of non polar Lipids in lipoproteins.
3. Low Density Lipoprotein or bad cholesterol is present in high levels in blood. Familial hypercholesterolemia is a genetic disorder caused by the defect of chromosome 19 due to which the body is unable to remove LDL.
4. NSAIDs work by reducing the production of prostaglandins. Prostaglandins produce inflammation and protects stomach wall from damaging effects of acid. Prostaglandins are produced by cyclooxygenase enzyme. Since NSAIDs block cyclooxygenase, it doesn\'t produce prostaglandins which reduces inflammation but the walls of stomach are exposed to acid which is why some people experience stomach pain.
