This document discusses the biblical story of Esther and relates it to walking in obedience to God. It summarizes Esther's story, highlighting how she was willing to risk her life if needed to obey God and help her people. It calls the reader to fearlessness, recognizing their destiny, and engaging in spiritual warfare through fasting and obedience like Esther. It announces a three-day fast of preparation and obedience, providing dates and topics to focus on each day, and encourages joining this fast to shift stories over lives, churches and nations according to God's plans.
3. Story # 1 - ‘DO WHATEVER HE TELLS YOU TO DO’
Story # 2 - “HE WHO HEARS MY WORDS AND
PUTS THEM INTO PRATICE IS LIKE THE MAN WHO
BUILDS HIS HOUSE UPON THE ROCK.”
Story # 3 – BORN FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS
4. Esther 4:14 (NIV)
14 For if you remain silent at this time, relief and
deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place,
but you and your father's family will perish. And who
knows but that you have come to royal position for
such a time as this?"
5. Esther 4:15-16 (NIV)
15 Then Esther sent this reply to Mordecai: 16 "Go,
gather together all the Jews who are in Susa, and fast
for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or
day. I and my maids will fast as you do. When this is
done, I will go to the king, even though it is against
the law. And if I perish, I perish.“
6. Esther 6:13 (NIV)
13 and told Zeresh his wife and all his friends
everything that had happened to him. His advisers
and his wife Zeresh said to him, "Since Mordecai,
before whom your downfall has started, is of Jewish
origin, you cannot stand against him--you will surely
come to ruin!“
8. Exodus 17:8-9 (NIV)
8 The Amalekites came and attacked the Israelites at
Rephidim. 9 Moses said to Joshua, "Choose some of
our men and go out to fight the Amalekites.
Tomorrow I will stand on top of the hill with the staff
of God in my hands.“
9. Exodus 17:15-16 (NIV)
15 Moses built an altar and called it The Lord is my
Banner. 16 He said, "For hands were lifted up to the
throne of the Lord. The Lord will be at war against the
Amalekites from generation to generation."
10. WALK IN OBEDIENCE
1. FEARLESSNESS
‘if I die, I die – but I am going to see the king’
2. DESTINY
‘born for such a time as this’
3. SPIRITUAL WARFARE
11. Fast of preparation & obedience
Esther 4:15-17 (NIV)
15 Then Esther sent this reply to Mordecai: 16 "Go,
gather together all the Jews who are in Susa, and fast
for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or
day. I and my maids will fast as you do. When this is
done, I will go to the king, even though it is against
the law. And if I perish, I perish." 17 So Mordecai went
away and carried out all of Esther's instructions.
12. PURPOSE

plans of the enemy over our lives, our churches, our
nation to be reversed
