This document proposes combining linked open data and mobile devices to improve access to open courseware (OCW). It introduces OCW and the benefits of linked data and mobile technologies for education. An architecture is presented for a mobile application that uses a SPARQL endpoint and triplestore to retrieve and display linked OCW data. A proof-of-concept mobile app is demonstrated that allows browsing OCW courses stored as linked open data. The document concludes that linking educational resources with metadata and making them available through mobile apps can enhance the user experience of accessing open educational content and resources.

LOCWD triplestore contains RDF data of OCW
courses published by OCW-Universia network

Conclusions
Benefit of Combination of Linked Data and mobile devices
The mobile devices could produce OER's (with audio, video,
photos, recommendations, etc.) and stored it in semantic
repositories.
The users of mobile applications can improve User Experience by
consuming semantically enriched information and linked data.
