2.  A former trooper with the New Jersey State Police,
Emblez Longoria is currently a senior security
consultant for Verizon Communications, Inc., in
which role he conducts internal investigations
and assessments for the company. For nearly 10
years, Emblez Longoria has been actively
involved with ASIS International, and served on
the credentialing board for the world’s leading
organization for security professionals.
In addition to offering educational and certificate
programs, ASIS hosts an annual conference to
address many key issues within the security
profession.

3.  Held April 22-23, 2015, the 25th New York City
Security Conference and Expo brought together
more than 2,500 security professionals with
educational sessions on security topics ranging
from human trafficking and cyber terrorism to
healthcare security challenges. The 2015 event
also included the Person of the Year Luncheon
honoring William J. Bratton, the 42nd Police
Commissioner of the City of New York, in
recognition of his outstanding public service
throughout a law enforcement career spanning
45 years.
