The male deer have antlers that they tend to shed and regrow in a particular period if the year. They feed themselves on green leaves during summer and nuts and such things during winter. Chipmunks can run quickly to get away from predators. They have a good sense of hearing. They blend in with the wood and forest around them. They have sharp teeth and paws for finding and digging up food or making burrows. They also hibernate during the winter so they don't die of cold. They find and store food all year long for the long winter months.
