The document discusses several technologies the author learned about and used during the process of creating a magazine product. The author used Photoshop to improve images and design layout, Dafont to find effective fonts, and Blogger to post research, planning and production updates. A survey tool called SurveyMonkey was also used to gather audience feedback. Hardware technologies like a camera captured photos, a memory stick transferred files, and a computer/laptop were used to complete the work.

2. Software
• My magazine needed the use of Photoshop
cs3 on improving my images and putting
my magazine together. As a technology I
have never used before, I have learnt a lot
about it through the construction of my
magazine. Dafont was a website I used
often to get effective fonts for my magazine
to attract my audience more effectively.
Another technology I have learnt to use
through this process is Blogger. Through
this website I posted my research, planning
and production of my magazine. I also used
surveymonkey for my research to question
audiences on what my magazine should be
like. This helped me make my magazine
more attractable to my audience and
without it, my magazine may have been
unsuccessful.
3. Hardware
• Hardware was very helpful in
creating my product. I used a
camera to take my photos of my
models for my front cover,
contents page and double page
spread. Without these there would
be no images for the audience to
enjoy. I used a memory stick to
transfer my work from college to
home so I could complete some of
my work in my own time. This was
helpful as I would not have had
enough time to do my work only in
lesson time. I of course used a
computer and my own laptop to
complete the work on: this would
have been impossible without.
