ERASMUS STUDENT CHARTER The status of Erasmus student applies to students who satisfy the Erasmus eligibility criteria and who have been selected by their university to spend an Erasmus study period abroad at a partner university in Europe. Both universities must have an Erasmus University Charter awarded by the European Commission .

6. Evolution and proposal The Real Virtual Erasmus. This proposition for virtual ERASMUS is developed in the REVE project. Virtual Erasmus can both include taking courses abroad while staying at the home university and vice-versa and/or complementing the existing physical Erasmus exchange programmes with virtual preparatory and follow-up activities
7. Evolution and proposals Erasmus mundus The programme confirms the European Commission's interest in opening up European higher education to the rest of the world. Erasmus Mundus complements the European Union's existing regional programmes in higher education with third countries
8. Conclusion The Erasmus project is an excellent programme. However, it is important to keep it competitive. That's why we have to discuss the evolution of the charter to facilitate students' needs and mobility.
