•Mention the invention
 •Be brief
  •The invention I want to write about is
     Flying Alarm Clock.
   •Out of all inventions presented, Flying
     Alarm Clock catches my attention the
     most.
Topic Sentence

•Main idea of the paragraph
•Express how you feel/think about the
  invention
 •I find the invention useful for three
   reasons.
 •The invention is the solution to my
   problems.
Supporting Sentences
•Explain your thought/feeling in full detail
 •Be tangible - use action words
•Be coherent - supporting details must be
  logical with your topic sentence
 •If you want to mention flaws, be sure to
    provide how to overcome them
•Use transitions
 •Firstly, secondly, next, furthermore, last
    but not least
