Two sentences that tell about the same noun can be combined by
adding an adjective to one of the sentences.
He looked behind the shed.
The she was rusty.
When combining sentences, leave out the words that repeat.
Troy lost his binder.
His binder was blue.
Lana found a small kitten.
It was a striped kitten.

1. Tori looked in her room. Her room was cluttered.
2. She then searched under the bushes. The bushes were brown.
3. Ted helped her search for the hat. It was a red hat.
4. Tori looked behind a tree. The tree was tall.
5. She saw a raccoon chewing on her cap. The raccoon was wild.
