Sharon provides consultation on the evaluation and implementation of emerging learning technologies in the learning environment. She has a longstanding interest in developing best practices for the hybrid learning environments and the use of multimedia in teaching and learning. Some projects Sharon is currently working on include: the use of collaborative annotation in online lecture videos, the development of a MOOC, the development of a teaching education diploma for secondary teachings in the Dadaab settlement (http://bit.ly/1dYhl6o), and the inclusion of gamification to motivate and engage students.
