- 7. Answering Qs •Pause •You are allowed to think about the answer •Ask back •It is OK to ask for clarification, redirect •Let me get back to you •If you don’t know, don’t guess Sip your water to allow for thinking and a calm voice
- 8. Rejection “A successful person is one who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks that others throw at her.” •It is NOT personal! •Remain pleasant in demeanor and appearance •Head UP! •Don’t apologize •It is OK to disagree •Keep a foot in the door
