If payment is successful, then your computation details will be forwarded to your ERI's Desk and then then ERI (Authorized E-Return Intermediary from Income Tax Department) will generate an XML file and uploads it in Income Tax Department Website 3. Income Tax Department generates acknowledgment in the form of ITR-V and Tax Department will send acknowledgment directly to your mail ID 4. Please take print out of ITR-V and sign under “ Verification “ 5.
