What I used when doing my project with why and how.

2. InDesign
I have used InDesign to create my
designs for my front cover,
contents page and double page
spread because of how useful it is
to do this because of the tools it
presents me like being able to
have my work on different layers
so I can overlap items for more
attraction and fit better. It also
had many other benefits like how
I could change the colours of
items easily to exactly what I
wanted.

3. Photoshop
I used Photoshop to help edit
my pictures , for instance when
blurring the image for my main
image and making the model’s
head appear in front of the title
on the front page and also for
when I was creating images from Barcode used on
the front page.

4. Online logo generator
I used the website
cooltext.com to help

5. Online QR code generator
I used qrcode.kaywa.com to
create myself a QR code for my
front cover to use in conjunction
to winning a electric guitar. I used
this site because it was very easy
and also free to use because all I
needed to do was paste in the
URL of the website I wanted
linking into a textbox and then Placed on the
click to generate the QR code and contents page.
then my QR code was presented
to me for saving to my file
folders.

6. Youtube
I used youtube.com to
upload a video for one of
my evaluation questions. I
used this site because of
how easy it was to upload
my video and the high
quality it left it at and how
easy it was to link the video
to my blog.

7. Power point /Slide share
I used Powerpoint to
create some slides that I
could then use on
slideshare.net to create
some presentations that I
could then use for my
evaluation questions.

8. Flickr
I used flickr.com to upload
all the pictures I took and
remembered to keep
when I was needing
photos for the designing
of my magazine.

9. Facebook
I used Facebook to present
my drafts of my design
work to my friends who
would be under the target
audience so I could get
feedback on what I have
done to see what I would
need to add, change and in
times take away when was
seen displeasing to my
target audience.

10. Google Images
I used Google Images to help
my research into other music
magazines when designing my
magazine to give myself
inspiration from magazines like
Kerrang, Metal Hammer and
Rock Sound by seeing their
front pages, contents pages and
double page spreads upon
demand via the pictures
presented to me.

11. Prezi
I used prezi.com to produce
some presentations for my
evaluation questions and for
my research shown. I used
this site because of how easy
it was to use and how easy it
was to present my
presentation created.
