2015 rankings
•  Launched in 1999 by UN Secretary General
•  Over 22,000 participants in over 135 countries
•  In Myanmar there are currently 352 members, mostly
SMEs
•  Dr Aung Tun Thet is the chair of the UN Global
Compact Local Network in Myanmar

Principle 3: Businesses should uphold the freedom of association and the effective
recognition of the right to collective bargaining;
