Dervis is a three time Paralympic swimmer, winning a total of 35 major international medals, 14 of which are gold..  "I am a visually impaired person, but I have never aloud my disability to stand in the way of my goals, dreams, and ambition" said Dervis. As well as training for the fourth coming 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games, Dervis dedicates his time to the promotion of sport. By visiting schools, clubs and events, Dervis looks to inspire children and adults, both with and without a disability to take part in sport.  "I wouldn't be the person I am today if it wasn't for sport. It has given me confidence, and drive" It depends on what is our goal & what we do to attain the goal
