Comment [6]: Will
  this
  depend
  on
  timing?

If
  time
  is
  available,
  you
  may
  create
  a
  poster
  of

your
  favourite
  animals,
  having
  each
  child
  draw

their
  favourite
  one
  (you
  may
  label
  their
  pictures).

Observations
   Nice
  Euge!!
  They
  will
  enjoy
  working
  with
  animal
  sounds.

It`s
  a
  nice
  topic.
  You
  may
  even
  teach
  them
  a
  song.
  For
  instance,
  I

found
  this
  online:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhW1-‐YW73Dk

I
  think
  that,
  if
  you
  have
  enough
  time,
  creating
  a
  poster
  would
  be

a
  suitable
  idea.
  You
  can
  recycle
  My
  eyes
  can
  see
  a
  (horse),
  as
  you

mention
  the
  different
  animals,
  or
  you
  can
  say
  My
  ear
  can
  hear
  …

and
  they
  have
  to
  point
  at
  the
  animal
  that
  makes
  that
  sound

from
  the
  poster.
  Just
  some
  ideas.
  It
  doesn´t
  mean
  you
  have
  to

do
  them!

Have
  a
  lovely
  lesson!!

  • 7. Materials:  color  pencils,  the  blackboard  and  chalks.     At  this  stage  I  ask  students  to  sit  around  me  and  we  talk  about  animals  we  like:  “My   favorite  animal  is  the  dog.  What  is  your  favorite  animal?”  I  draw  a  dog  on  the   blackboard  next  to  a  smiling  face  and  encourage  a  few  students  to  name  their  favorite   animal  and  draw  it  on  their  notebooks  or  on  the  board.     Once  they  are  finished,  I  say:  “Oh!  No!  Look  at  the  time!!!  (pointing  out  the  clock.)  It’s   time  to  say  goodbye!  Let’s  sing  the  good-‐bye  song”     “This  is  the  way  we  say  goodbye,  say  goodbye,  say  goodbye   this  is  the  way  we  say  goodbye,  to  you,  and  you  and  you”         IMPORTANT!     The  format  in  which  the  stages  are  presented  will  vary  according  to  the  teaching   approach  or  combination  of  approaches  you  decide  to  base  your  lesson  plan  upon.     ➢ To  be  completed  by  your  tutors:     Lesson  plan   component   Excellent   5   Very  Good   4   Good   3   Acceptable   2   Below  Standard   1   Visual   organization     x         Coherence  and   sequencing     x         Variety  of   resources  –   Learning  styles     x         Stages  and   activities     x         Teaching   strategies     x         Language   accuracy     x         Aurelia 5/3/17 10:31 PM Comment [6]: Will  this  depend  on  timing?   If  time  is  available,  you  may  create  a  poster  of   your  favourite  animals,  having  each  child  draw   their  favourite  one  (you  may  label  their  pictures).
  • 8. Observations   Nice  Euge!!  They  will  enjoy  working  with  animal  sounds.     It`s  a  nice  topic.  You  may  even  teach  them  a  song.  For  instance,  I   found  this  online:     https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhW1-‐YW73Dk     I  think  that,  if  you  have  enough  time,  creating  a  poster  would  be   a  suitable  idea.  You  can  recycle  My  eyes  can  see  a  (horse),  as  you   mention  the  different  animals,  or  you  can  say  My  ear  can  hear  …   and  they  have  to  point  at  the  animal  that  makes  that  sound   from  the  poster.  Just  some  ideas.  It  doesn´t  mean  you  have  to   do  them!     Have  a  lovely  lesson!!     Aure     ps:  Remember  that  you  must  always  send  the  link  /  add  the   audio  file  to  the  lesson  plan.  Take  it  into  account  for  further   occasions.    
