Eva Vasileska is an architect from Macedonia who has studied and worked in Slovenia. She has completed several studio projects during her studies focusing on typologies like housing, schools, and urban design. Her work explores relationships between spatial layout and social factors using tools like space syntax analysis. She is interested in architecture that can change and adapt based on user needs through collaborative design processes.

100m wall gesture in the faculty garden. A line that moves among
the trees as reference points. Different set of foldings to test the re-

craft’s house in the old bazaar
second year studio project
Located in Skopje’s ottoman bazaar, this project rethinks the orig-
inal typology-shop and production space with small apartment on
top of it. It shows the production process in attempt to get the visitor
involved. The design reflects on the old structure dealing with the
question of building in the city history core

Elongated prism for strong relation with the village and combina-
tion of boxes for the classrooms. The public space of the school
has strong orthogonal organization while the classrooms fings
adapt the layout for the most favourable sunlight orientation. The
classroom composition was guided by the idea to form not just
outside space in the between but also inside spaces for informal
learning.

landscape project
Two strong walls to hold the melting between the house and the
garden. What was rated as unpleasant is now removed by the
walls and the view directed into the valley. The garden and the
house are sliced in between themself and their relation tested with
the extreme. The housing units are orthogonaly alignmented on
the ground while above it, the atelje is cast into the view .

The focus of the project is a hybrid building on the site of the former
Kolizej building in the center of Ljubljana. The building is design
to offer new spatial experiences to the city inhabitants while ad-
dressing its build context. Mixing different programs it shows new
scenarios, its inner relation as well as the impact it can have on the
city center. The project explores the idea of the urban hybrid as at-
tractor in the city tissue appling features of the future contemporary
city, such as programming, density, scale and permeability. On the
site where old Kolizej was demolished 2011 this project propose
theater, acting school, apartments and all services required for it,
in one building. It meditate each program’s requirements and in-
troduce new relation between them. The focus is put on structuring
the building to provide for the expectation of each program while
enriching it with new experiences that comes from the coexisting
of different programs. At the same time, it aims for outside open
space not just as relation to the building but as urban contribution
on city level.

Located in Vitanje, in KSEVT building this project focuses on
ground vs. space-like movement, extending visitors experience
while following the idea of nanotoursim: local vs. planetary.
The project offers visitors intense experience of complete body

16. Space Syntax is a science-based, human-focused ap-
proach that investigates relationships between spatia
layout and range of social, economic and environmental
phenomena. Here I’ve tried connectivity and integration
analysis of axial map using UCL Depthmap 10. Both of the
analysis show how a segment is embedded in the whole
system, what it’s relation to other segments is and how
easily it can be reach. The connectivity analysis shows
how often a street is connected to another street. The in-
tegration analysis shows how easy a certain street can
be reached.

SYNTACTIC is a
plug in for grasshopper developed at TU Delft, i
have tried it on basic house layout. A Syntactic
architectural design methodology: integrating
real-time space syntax analysis in a configura-
tive architectural design process. The plug in
investigates the possibility of deriving at plan
layout patterns through sketching spatial con-
figuration using an interactive bubble diagram
that represents a spatial connectivity graph
Integration analysis:the higher
the integration value, the more
likely for a space to be commu-
nal and the lower the integration
value, the more the private that
space is.
Control analysis:indicates how
strongly a vertex in a graph
(a space in a configuration) in
linked to other points in a supe-
rior manner
Choice analysis: indicates how
often a space happens to be on
a shortest path between other
spaces, it measures the degree
of choise each space represents
(how likely it is to be passed
through) on all shortest routes
from all spaces to all
Entropy analysis:he lowerthe en-
tropy value the more difficult it is
to reach other spaces from that
space and vice-versa

I believe in architecture that adopts the uncertainty as basic strategy.
Architecture that is constantly changing, reflecting the demands of
the creative entities who are shaping it. Architecture today is not the
expression of a single individual, neither the expression of a collec-
tive, rather the one of a platform, a network of influences, continu-
ously being reorganized by all participants.
Looking forward the possibility of practising disobedience towards
mine own discipline
