9. Design for music projects has the same qualities as design for
any product or service. You make things fit. Where you can you
add an extra dimension, further depth, new extensions of what is
there. Here, designing for Aromatiq - a brand based around
chillstep, deep vocal dubstep, trip hop and its revival, chill house,
and in the past deep house, broken beat, 2 step lounge, nujazz,
nusoul and more.
Here I combine clean and moderate typography - nothing too
extreme, with a subdued palette, misty and pastoral images,
occasionally an image or two with a hint of distress, blurs, stains.
It is a design stream for those gentler moments, as with the
music, the morning after the party before, the easy walk in winding down, stretching on the sofa after ...
