The Centreville Green Ponds 1 and 2 are located within the Centreville Green Subdivision; Pond 1 is located off Lee Highway and Pond 2 is located off Canada Goose Court within the Little Rocky Run Watershed. The project consisted of retrofitting the existing two ponds to improve water quality and storage volume. Improvement will increase the residence time of the ponds and provide enhanced water quality benefits. Retrofitting the Centreville Green Ponds allows for the facilities to provide a reduction of 10.7 pounds of total phosphorous, 82.3 pounds of total nitrogen, and 8,622.9 pounds of sediment per year.

Description:
• The Centreville Green Pond 1 (LR81-0001-0738DP) and Pond 2 (LR81-0002-0739DP) Retrofit Project has been substantially
completed. The two ponds are located within the Centreville Green Subdivision; Pond 1 is located off Lee Highway and Pond 2
is located off Canada Goose Court within the Little Rocky Run Watershed. The project consisted of retrofitting the existing two
ponds to improve water quality and storage volume. Improvement will increase the residence time of the ponds and provide
enhanced water quality benefits. Retrofitting the Centreville Green Ponds allows for the facilities to provide a reduction of 10.7

Project Overview:
• Construction of forebays, high and low-marsh, vegetated wetland areas, micro-pools.
• Modification of existing risers with orifice, bmp plates, trash racks.
• Installed floatable trash collection devices at the inflow pipes as a Pilot Program.
• Installation of Maintenance Access Grasscrete.
• Upgrading the existing asphalt trail into 12’ Wide Maintenance Access Asphalt.
• Installation of Standard Entrance Gutter CG-9 and installation of five removable locking bollards at pond 1.
• Installation of Modified Entrance with three removable locking bollards at pond 2.
• Restoring the site with selective seed mix, low marsh plugs, shrubs and trees.
