FCDOT identifies opportunities for bicycle facilities, coordinates with VDOT
Proposals are limited to restriping existing pavement
On-street parking is usually preserved
Fast process: Construction from summer through fall 2017
No additional cost to Fairfax County to implement proposed changes,
marginal additional cost to VDOT
