Merrywood Force Main Rehabilitation

Description:
The Merrywood Force Main Rehabilitation project was substantially completed on
January 4, 2019. This project included rehabilitation of 1,080 linear feet of 6 inch force
main, its discharge manhole, and the installation of a future bypass system in front of the
pump station.
Project Overview:
• Roughly 780-linear feet of force main was rehabilitated with Cured-In-Place-Pipe
(CIPP) lining
• Roughly 300-linear feet of lined force main had to be replaced with Ductile Iron Pipe
due to a crack that formed on the lining during testing
• A future emergency bypass system was installed at the pump station
• The discharge manhole was rehabilitated with cementitious lining
