Textile Export Growth in
Bangladesh
 In 2004-05, which was the last year of global textile quota regime, Bangladesh’s
textiles and clothing exports stood at $6.42 billion that increased in 2010-11 to
$20.221 billion.
 China was exporting textiles worth $95.13 billion in 2004-05, which surged to
$206.53 billion in 2010-11.
 During the same period, textiles and clothing exports from India increased from
13.51 billion dollars to $23.31 billion.
 Meanwhile, Pakistan’s exports of the same items went up from $8.82 billion to a
mere $13.80 billion.
 Bangladesh led the textile trade growth, posting an increase of
215 per cent between 2004-05 and 2010-11.

availability of knitting, linking, processing, boarding, &
packing selection & purchase of yarn with

as well as knitting & finish size and stretch along with knitting machine courses.

KNITTING DEPARTMENT
Delta Socks Ltd. has the latest state of the art
technology approximately;
 46 Single Cylinder, Lonati,Soosan.
 Knitting Machines having 108, 144, 156 & 168
needles with single 4 & 6 feeds and produces
over 35,000 dozens pairs of socks per month.
It is here that skills and dexterity of operators &
technicians for setting necessary parameters are
put to the test

DYEING & PROCESSING
Currently we don’t have this facility as we use finished yarns, but
going forward we have a plan to set up a facility compliant to 2 tons
capacity per day.
