A dual-marketplace system for buyers to post request-for-quotes on specific products and part numbers, as well
as for suppliers to respond with their quotes. The Client desired a modern system with a user-friendly
workflow to simplify a tedious paperwork process.

Challenge: The system needed to replicate a series of existing manual, paperwork processes, and the design
needed to identify opportunities to increase the efficiency of the processes.

requirements into workflow diagrams
▪ Drafted wireframes to iterate through various
concepts, while crafting the interaction design and
information architecture

A quality assurance system to track manufacturing issues and defects. The system was originally built 9+
years prior to the project. Client was wanting a modern look and to have a mobile-friendly layout.

Challenge: A rigid workflow for the system needed to be maintained and followed to mirror the standard
auditing process; yet blended with the latest information architecture design styles, while working on a tight
project budget.

corrective action record to increase readability and
clarity.
▪ Updated form field validation to increase data
accuracy at point of entry.

Based upon feedback received from prospective customers considering to purchase a paid subscription, their
operations model had changed from being community / social oriented to being educational/curriculum
oriented. The system had been primarily focused on a community / social model

potential customers, identified that the two models
were similar but used different terminology.

geographic areas where studies had been conducted and how those ecosystems were evolving.

Challenge: Feedback had been received from the conservationists and researchers, that the two systems were
cumbersome to use and not time efficient. Usability Research was requested by the stakeholders to identify
issues and propose options to remedy the issues.
