American company that installed a production of steel pipes for the oil sector in the country and chose the state of Atlantico as the investment destination. Is based in Caracolí and with an investment of U.S. $ 100 million, generating more than 350 jobs for the region
American company, established as the single-free trade zone of BPO on the Caribbean coast. The company choose Barranquilla to be the first operation point in the country, SYKES exported from Barranquilla services to customers located in the United States.The investment of USD 2 billion, is projected to generate up to 300 jobs in 2014.
From its headquarters in Barranquilla Colombia where they established their MRO center, Cummins, U.S. company, it makes marketing and repair of engines for industrial mining, construction, and automotive industries, among others. They generated 160 direct and formal jobs.
The second largest private company in the world, engaged in the manufacturing of chocolates and pet food, like Pedigree and Whiskhas has in Barranquilla its distribution centre for Colombia and the region. The multinational studied 40 cities throughout the country for the establishment and Barranquilla offered the best conditions for their supply chain.
