One use of a conjuction is to connect words or phrases that have the same
grammatical function in a sentence.
Both…And = both two things or people
Neither…Nor = none of them
Examples :
- Both Peter and John are at my party
- That book is neither interesting nor accurate
- Neither John nor his friends are going to the beach today
Note :
When neither is followed by nor, the verb may be singular or plural
depending on whether the noun following nor is singular or plural.
