2. Principle of Excellence
• God’s plan for my life to bring Him glory!
• “Commit your way to the Lord, trust in Him, and
He will do it.” ~ Psalm 37:5
• “Lay aside every weight that slows us down and
sin that trips us up….run with endurance the
race God has set before us.” ~ Hebrews 12:1b-2a
• Recognize who God is – power, present, know
• “And the temple was filled with smoke from the
glory of God and from his power…” ~ Rev. 15:8a
4. Commit to the
Assignment
• There is a kingdom purpose for everything we
do in alignment with God’s plan for our lives
• Mark of good character (Gal. 5:22-23)
• But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,
patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
gentleness, self-control; against such things
there is no law.
5. Commit to the
Assignment
• Failure to commit = commitment to failure
• Venue for escape (Matt. 6:13, 1 Cor. 10:13)
• The temptations in your life are no different
from what others experience. And God is
faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be
more than you can stand. When you are
tempted, he will show you a way out so that you
can endure…Rescue us from the evil one.
6. Commit to the
Assignment
• Choose to do it – make up your mind that you are
going to do it
• Desire to do it – don’t be a fantasy-chaser or
perpetrator
• Set the standard – stand firm in faith with the
authority God gives you
• In the west, people will respect the name of the
LORD; in the east, they will glorify him. For he will
come like a raging flood tide driven by the breath of
the LORD. ~ Isaiah 59:19
7. Commit to the
Assignment
• Extend grace and truth
• Grace gives benefit of the doubt, forgives
quickly and builds up to be at peace with all
• …Put on a heart of compassion, kindness,
humility, gentleness and patience; bearing with
one another, and forgiving each other...Beyond
all these things put on love, which is the perfect
bond of unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your
hearts, to which indeed you were called in one
body; and be thankful. ~ Colossians 3:12-15
8. Commit to the
Assignment
• Extend grace and truth
• Truth reflects what’s in a person to manifest
outwardly and be imparted to others
• Speak the truth of God’s word and seek to
discern to edify and instruct others ~ Proverbs
8:6-9
• A tree is known by its fruit
• “One says I have works & you have faith. Show
me your faith without works and I’ll show you my
faith by my works.” ~ James 2:17-18
9. Commit to the
Assignment
• Establish and maintain balance
• Agile matrix of boundaries
• Know your limitations and resources available
• There is a time and season for everything
• For everything there is a season, a time for every
activity under heaven. ~ Ecclesiastes 3:1
• Guard your heart.
• Guard your heart above all else, for it determines
the course of your life. ~ Proverbs 4:20-23
10. Commit to the
Assignment
• Commit with understanding of the
opportunities and risks before starting so that
finishing is virtually guaranteed
• “I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one
thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to
what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the
race and receive the heavenly prize for which
God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.” ~
Philippians 3:13-14
11. Accept the Responsibility
• To / Of / For ___________
• Invest in yourself to yield fruit in abundance
• Hold yourself accountable to God’s will
• Make a mistake? Get up, dust yourself off and
keep moving forward
• “It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I
live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God,
who loved me and gave himself for me.” ~ Galatians
2:20
12. Accept the Responsibility
• Apply the Triple A – acknowledge, apologize,
action (move on)
• Press toward the mark of the prize of the high
calling ~ Php. 3:14
• Put blinders on and run your own race
• “Be full of joy in the Lord. Be considerate in all
you do. Remember the Lord is coming soon.
Pray instead of worrying. God’s peace will guard
your heart and mind as you live in Christ.” Php.
4:4-7
13. Accept the Responsibility
• Treat others the way you want to be treated.
• Conversely, avoid being too sensitive and gullible.
• Regardless of the circumstance:
• “God’s word never returns void and He cannot lie, but
must bear witness of Himself. If God said it, He will do
it.” ~ Isaiah 55:11, Num. 23:19, Heb. 6:18
• Walk in humility and be courageous (Eccl 3:1)
14. Respect the Authority
• Of the Word
• “…astonished at the teaching, for His word
possessed authority.” ~ Luke 4:32
• “because of your traditions you have destroyed
the authority of God’s word.” Mark 7:13
15. Respect the Authority
• Miriam-Webster’s definition – “ a feeling or
understanding that someone or something is
important, serious and should be treated in an
appropriate way.”
• Give respect (honor) to whom respect (honor) is
due. ~ Romans 13:7
• Beware of those who display false sense of
humility. Esteem others over self. ~ Php. 2;3
16. Respect the Authority
• Walk in in submission, but not in fear towards
one another. (2 Timothy 1:7)
• For in many dreams and in many words there is
emptiness. Rather, fear God. ~ Eccl. 5:7
• Believe in God’s authority and the spiritual
authority He placed inside of you.
• The fear of man brings a snare, But he who trusts
in the LORD will be exalted. ~ Prov. 29:25
17. Embrace the Anointing
• Of the Holy Spirit
• “The anointing you received….remain in
fellowship with Christ.” ~ 1 John 2:27
• “We have an Advocate who will teach us all
things and remind us of the Word.” ~ John
14:26
• “ It is God who makes us stand firm in Christ.
He anointed us.” ~ 1 Corinthians 1:21
18. Embrace the Anointing
• The 3rd person of the trinity
• Humbly and thankfully accept the power that
comes with it
• Walk in it to bring glory to God
• He wants to help us do the miraculous
• Bring healing, restoration, deliverance, loose from
strongholds, beak yokes and set free from
oppression. Plus fed, clothe and shelter. (Is. 58:6-8)
19. Embrace the Anointing
• Fast and pray – keep an open heart & mind
• Learn the voice of the Lord
• You will reap what you sow
• “A time to embrace and a time to shun
embracing.” ~ Eccl. 3:5b
• Allow it to help you live empowered, fulfilling
the plan of God, and experience abundant
living in the kingdom.
20. Treasure the Experiences
• In Your Life
• React to your surroundings with a positive
attitude
• “And He has said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for
you, for power is perfected in weakness.’…for
when I am weak, then I am strong.” ~ 2 Cor. 12:9-
10
21. Treasure the Experiences
• It’s all about God’s plan
• “And we know that God causes everything to
work together for the good of those who love
God and are called according to his purpose for
them.” ~ Rom. 8:28
22. Declare the Victory
• Of Your Success
• You can do all things through Christ who
strengthens you. ~ Php. 4:13
• He traced our bloodline through Christ Jesus
• “He is the image of the invisible God, the
firstborn of all creation….for all the fullness to
dwell in Him, yet He has now reconciled you in His
fleshly body through death, in order to present
you before Him holy and blameless and beyond
reproach…” ~ Colossians 1:15-23
23. Declare the Victory
• We are inseparable from God’s love
• “Victory is ours through Christ who loved us.
Neither death nor life, angels nor demons, fears
for today nor worries for tomorrow, no powers in
the sky above or the earth below, not even the
powers of hell can separate us from the love of
God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
~ Romans 8:37-39
24. Expect the Best
• In all things for everyone born of God overcomes
the world (1 John 5)
• He created us in His image – the majesty and
splendor of His glory!
• “Honor and majesty surround him; strength and
beauty fill his sanctuary. Praise the LORD, my soul.
LORD my God, you are very great; you are clothed with
splendor and majesty.” ~ Psalm 96:6, 104:1
25. Expect the Best
• Fix your thoughts on true, honorable, right,
pure, lovely, and admirable – excellent and
praiseworthy things (Php. 4:8)
26. Declaration
• CARE – React – Traced – Created Revisited
• When we CARE we REACT in love towards one
another
• When God CREATED he TRACED our bloodline
through his own because of his love for us.
27. God’s Lens
• Essence of divinity
Genesis (alpha) to Revelation (trinity) = Omega
(outcome)
• The first prophet and gave birth to the
prophetic process through act of Creation
• In the beginning God “ra’ah” (saw) the light He
created & declared it was good (Gene 1:4)
• Spoke our purpose into existence before
conception (Jer `1:5, 29:11)
28. God’s Lens
• Sees us differently from how we see each
other
• He discerns, perceives and envisions purpose
for each our lives, both collectively and
individually
• Worship Him, harvest fields, and prosper
• Walk out life plan using gifts, talents and skills
• The weak and the strong – Romans 14
29. Keys to Remember
• CARE – Make progress
• REACT – Success is relative at each step
• TRACE – Joint heir with Christ
• CREATED – Keep the faith & pursue excellence
• “We can rejoice when we run into problems and trials
= patience = strength of character = hope of salvation
= not ashamed. For we know how dearly God loves
us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our
hearts with his love.” Rom. 5:3-5
Fantasy-chaser = dreams of success but never does anything to obtain it
Perpetrator = talks about it like you’re really pursuing it, giving a false impression
Let God bless you and use you.
He came so that we could have life and have it more abundantly.
