2. Our Mission
To transform individuals, families and communities out of poverty into
lasting wellbeing.
3. About Us: Our Inception
Venture 2 Impact, previously known as Uganda Venture, is an organization and a movement that started
in 2006 to help communities in Uganda break the cycle of poverty.
Since our inception, we’ve been promoting transformational development to overseas communities
while helping our involved volunteers better understand world poverty. We address issues of isolation,
vulnerability, powerlessness, physical weakness among other forms of poverty, creating an environment
where locals and North Americans can grow.
Over the last nine years our work was exclusively focused on projects in Uganda. We partnered with
communities in the Mpigi district of Uganda to create programs and projects that aim to elevate their
standard of living
4. About Us: The Work
Venture 2 Impact has strategically focused itself around three E’s:
Education, Empowerment, and Economic Development.
We believe that through initiatives in these three areas, we are able
to bring individuals out of poverty and into lasting wellbeing. While
our initiatives within each category ebb and flow based on local
needs, solutions, and opportunities, these pillars are the strong
foundation to all the work that Venture 2 Impact does.
8. About Us: The Evolution
In September 2015, Venture 2 Impact made a strategic shift to seek partnerships
internationally and expand our work outside of Uganda. We feel privileged to
have journeyed with our communities in Uganda for such a long time, and we
certainly are thankful for all that we’ve learned in the process.
We are excited to invite you to join us on two exploration trips to the following

Just as an example of what we do in Uganda.
It might be a good idea to get people to run day camps and events with children on the ground? Soccer? Photography? Games? ETC.
- Potential short term service projects could be Sport Camps, Photography, Carpentry, Sewing, English lessons, Reading Program, Arts (I’m basing these off of programs we’ve run in the past that have been successful – we also have three locations/villages we work in and could replicate something) – I’m getting pictures from the recent photographer that we just had there to show off some of our projects.
ike most of India, agriculture is one of the most significant sectors of the economy of Uttarakhand. Basmati rice, wheat, soybeans, groundnuts, coarse cereals, pulses, and oil seeds are the most widely grown crops. Fruits like apples, oranges, pears, peaches, litchis, and plums are widely grown and important to the large food processing industry. Agricultural export zones have been set up in the state for leechi, horticulture, herbs, medicinal plants, and basmati rice.
