around 11000 visitors (up on the previous year).

• We also had strong – and free – PR support from
Adrian Mahoney of The PR Store and some of our

We had one of our most successful Hallowe’en open
days, attracting 330 people in just three hours to
Kinneil House!
We also provided prizes for the best dressed
children.

To raise funds in November we held a Bingo Night in
Kinneil Bowling Club, raising more than £500.
A big thanks to the club for its support.
The month ended with another talk – this time to
Falkirk Rotary Club.

Delivered! We worked with Falkirk Community Trust and
consultants (with funding from Heritage Lottery Fund,
Falkirk Council and The Friends of Kinneil) to revamp
Kinneil Museum.
The new-look ground floor was launched in March 2015.

We kept local people and members informed about works
at Kinneil Woods. There has been widespread tree-felling
and new trees planted.

Approved: Falkirk Council has approved a masterplan to
develop and improve Kinneil Estate. All they need now is
money. The Friends – and other local groups – contributed
to this plan.
