Honduras. A home being built in Agua Caliente after the second successful harvest of rice. CRWRC began working in Honduras following Hurricane Fifi in 1974. Along with several large, Christian organizations from North America and Europe, CRWRC started a Honduran agency called CEDEN (the Comite Evangelico de Deserrollo y Emergencia Nacional) to work in several regions of Honduras and carry out relief work through local evangelical churches.

Senegal woodstove distribution. Women in the village of MborurokhCisse in Senegal prepare a meal to be cooked on the fuel-efficient Jambaar wood stove, provided by CRWRC through partner agency Beer-Sheba. The stoves will both preserve the local environment, as they burn as much as 50% less charcoal during an average meal preparation, and save money that local families would have spent to purchase wood in this heavily deforested area.
