Tuesday August 25th Hilton Birmingham Metropole
A bright future
President Anna Segatti welcomed everybody and
spoke confidently of a bright future despite the difficult
economic conditions. “Sales Leaders are the secret
weapon for the company’s success. We work as a
partnership; at the centre of everything is the shared
desire to service, contact and care for Representatives
and customers.”
Results and plans
Hosts Richard Pinnock (Executive Director Sales) and Paul
Stephens (Sales Leadership Development Manager) spoke
about the current business results and the plans to help your
businesses to go forward. The strategy for this year will focus

achievement. My hard work has really paid off especially with the great support and
encouragement I have had from my team and my Business Development Manager Judith
Perrett. The professionalism and hard work of Sales Leaders was obvious at Live Your
Dream and has certainly inspired me to achieve even higher goals in the coming year.

Louise Carter (left)
“I had an absolutely fabulous time at my very first Live Your Dream event! To have the
opportunity to meet other Sales Leaders and people I have only ever seen in In-sight
magazine was amazing. I was thrilled and surprised to receive my awards; achieving
my goal of Executive level in a year was enough for me personally, but to receive
recognition on top of that was an incredible feeling! When my name was called out I
thought my heart was going to pop out of my chest!”
I feel very privileged to work with an amazing group of people - a great upline team and
my own downliners, who I am very proud of. Without them I could never have achieved
Executive status and so I would like to thank them all for their support, dedication and
hard work. I would also like to thank my ASM Deena Smith for her input and support.
I do believe that if you have a definite goal, and a realistic timescale in which you
want to achieve it, you can do anything. I completely believe in the Sales Leadership
opportunity and know that being dedicated and excited is catching - people just can’t
help but want to work with you if your enthusiasm shows.”

“Firstly I was very surprised by the nomination as I knew this alone was a huge honour.
But you can’t imagine my surprise when it was my name up there on the screen as
Team of the Year the winner! I just couldn’t believe it - my legs got a bit soft! I had joked with Richard
Pinnock earlier that it would probably sound funny to hear Anna Segatti, with her Italian
Anna Wachula accent, pronounce some really difficult polish name...and then when my team came on
screen they were almost all Polish!
I would like to thank everyone for working so hard this year: Bozena Szewczyk who got
to Executive level, Teresa Sliwinska, Natalia Skala-Puch and Joanna Kalmuczak who all
got to Advanced and Magdalena Patelka who is not directly in my team, but with whom I
work closely. It was so nice to see my name there, but it was and is a team effort and as
I said to them ‘Don’t congratulate me - congratulate yourselves as it is your success’.
It was really good feeling when fellow Sales Leaders were coming to congratulate me.
This is a great privilege and honour, especially when taking over from Gail and Brian
Reynolds who won last year. Winning the ‘Team of the Year’ is not only great recognition,
6
but in a way responsibility as my team needs to get ‘bigger, faster, stronger’ to live up
to the prize and prove that it was not a random choice, especially with more and more
competition in Sales Leadership every year.” in-sight
