Why is this an Issue? ,[object Object],A lack of water in Africa is a huge issue due to several factors. Firstly, so many people get sick because of either the lack of water or unclean water that they do drink. Secondly, many kids and especially girls, do not get the chance to go to school like we do. Instead, every day, they have to get up and walk at least 2 hours to get water, then carry the heavy containers filled with water back to their families. This makes the cycle of poverty very hard to break out of. Because only the men can work and only the boys can go to school, they are left with half the income then if the woman could work instead of having to go get water. Since the girls are not educated, they can not work when they grow up and have their own family, nothing changes and the cycle continues. Why Is This an Issue?
